IEC Infrared Systems (IEC) began in 1999.
What is your primary product or service?
We design, manufacture, and service thermal & visual surveillance systems (and supporting infrastructure) for military and high-value commercial security customers.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
IEC is recognized by NASA as a "NASA Spinoff Company". IEC was formed by researchers at the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, who had experience in thermal and other optical imaging and control systems.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
IEC's strength is its in-house, multi-disciplinary engineering capabilities. Our designs are performed by in-house engineers in the areas of mechanical, electrical/electronics, and software engineering, giving IEC's engineers the unique ability to customize and adapt our systems to meet virtually any environment or mission requirement.
